Austin Ashe
Austin Ashe graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Central Florida. With over ten years of experience in music, Austin has appeared in many solo performances as a pianist. His primary teachers have included Laurent Boukobza and Joshua Herrington.
Austin has also privately studied composition and music theory with composer Christopher Marshall. As a composer, Austin’s work is especially influenced by the music of Federico Mompou, Lili Boulanger, Toru Takemitsu, Alexander Scriabin, and Kaikhosru Sorabji.
